How do I create my first prompt?

Click New prompt in the navigation. Describe your goal in plain language, answer 5 targeted questions, and PromptForge will generate a structured, scored prompt ready to use in any AI model.

What AI models can I use my prompts with?

Your prompts work with any AI model — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, Llama, Grok, and more. PromptForge generates model-agnostic prompts using professional prompt engineering frameworks.

How does the scoring system work?

Each prompt is scored out of 100 based on quality signals including role definition, objective clarity, context, requirements, constraints, output format, and specificity. Scores above 80 are considered excellent.

What is the difference between the interview and the rewriter?

The interview flow builds a prompt from scratch by asking you targeted questions. The rewriter takes an existing prompt you already have and restructures it using professional frameworks to improve its score.

How do I share a prompt?

Open any prompt from your dashboard, scroll to the bottom, and click Share publicly. This generates a unique share link you can send to anyone. Sharing requires a Pro plan.

How do payments work?

PromptForge uses one-time monthly payments — there is no automatic renewal. You pay once and your plan stays active for 30 days. We accept card, mobile money (MoMo), bank transfer, and USSD via Paystack.

How do I cancel or not renew my plan?

Since there is no auto-renewal, you simply do not pay again when your 30 days expire and your account reverts to the free plan automatically. No cancellation needed.

Can I export my prompts?

Yes. From any prompt page, you can export as Markdown (.md) or PDF. Markdown export is available on all plans. PDF export requires a Pro or Team plan.

What happens if I hit my free plan limit?

Free accounts can generate 5 prompts per month. When you hit the limit you will see an upgrade prompt. You can still use the rewriter, view your history, and access all existing prompts — only new generation is paused.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Account Settings and scroll to the Danger Zone section. Click Delete account and confirm. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

My payment went through but my plan did not upgrade. What do I do?

This can happen if you closed the browser before the payment confirmation page loaded. Contact us at kellysyder753@gmail.com with your payment reference number and we will manually upgrade your account within 24 hours.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your prompts are private by default and only visible to you. You can choose to make individual prompts public via share links. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
